We are now a University of Limerick Teaching Practice
As you may have noticed we are now a teaching practice of the University of Limerick. Our affiliation with the University reflects our commitment to high-quality care and professional development. Hosting medical students and trainee doctors brings fresh perspectives and encourages us to stay current with the latest evidence and guidelines.
Many of you will be familiar with meeting with medical students in the practice over the last few years and we are very conscious that this would not be possible without the generosity of our patients, who have welcomed learners into their consultations and allowed them to be part of their care. Your patience and openness make a real difference to these future doctors, helping them develop the skills and confidence they need to serve communities like ours.
We are deeply thankful for your continued support in shaping the next generation of GPs, however in the event that you would prefer for a medical student not to be involved in your care please let us know.
